Adventures of a Miss!!

I got this from http://www.romancemeetslife.com/2013/05/adventures-of-miss-episode-11.html#more and would love to share it.

I might as well tell him now, I mean since we are both on this honesty road it might make things a little easier. Will the fact that Bolaji slept with Zainab aver 8 years ago matter when comparing it to the fact that just a couple of months ago I was still out with Muhammad?
At the time, I didn’t think Bolaji was taking me serious though, I thought I was just the poor girl he was dating that he knew he could impress easily till he found daddy’s business partner daughter to marry. I am so confused, I don’t want to lose Bolaji, and it’s not because of the money. In the past, I had to keep my emotions bagged up because I thought he would eventually dump me but I realized once I let all my feelings for him manifest, it was the most amazing thing.

Me: “I have something to tell you but like you said you have to listen and not try to fight me as well. So a couple of months ago…”
Who the hell is knocking at the door at this time and interrupting a conversation that took all of the liver in me to bring up? Bolaji gets up and walks past me to see who is at the door but I couldn’t hear who it was since I was in the kitchen. I walk closer to where I could see without been noticed after I heard shouting and surprisingly it is Muhammad.

Tribute to a great Icon

CHINUA ACHEBE
This tribute was written by my friend and i would love to share it
My tribute to the Legend Chinua Achebe :
When I heard that one of the men I respect the most (Prof. Chinua Achebe) has passed on, I was not in a hurry to comment on the matter because to give one’s parting words to a legend like Achebe one’s words must be chosen carefully and respectfully.
I fell in love with Achebe through his works most notably “Things Fall Apart”, “No longer at ease” & ‘Anthills of the savannah’. On reading his works I knew instantly this was a genius a work and since then i paid special attention to the legend. I have said it many times and I continue to say that I consider Chinua Achebe the greatest writer of his time in Africa and beyond. His magnum opus “things fall apart” remains a timeless classic till tomorrow.

U-turn in Stephen Keshi's decision

Stephen Keshi
After the decision to quit as the coach of the Super Eagles, the winning coach Stephen Keshin has taken a u-turn in his decision. He made this statement on Tuesday morning. His change of mind was due to the intervention of the presidency.
Earlier on, it was learnt that the Nigeria Football Federation had planned to sack Keshi before the match against Ivory-Coast and the NFF had chattered a plane for the Eagles to come back home when they heard that the Eagles are playing against Ivory-Coast.
The NFF is owing Keshi eight months salaries and an official car and also some amount of money meant for the competition.
 His statement is as follow
"My attention has been drawn to reports in the media that I have resigned my appointment as the head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria," he said in a statement.
“While I have had cause to express my displeasure over some issues that happened in the course of our participation in the Afcon 2013, which my team won by the grace of God, especially concerning my relationship with the Nigerian Football Federation, I have since had opportunity to discuss the various issues with all concerned.
“I am therefore pleased to say that I have reconsidered my position and have decided to continue with my job. I want to thank the Honourable minister of sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, for his swift and kind intervention."
Keshi guided Nigeria to their first Nations Cup victory in 19 years on Sunday, and became just the second footballer to have won the trophy as a player and coach.
