Croatian Football Federation to be panalised by UEFA

During the group C match between Italy and Croatian on Thursday, a banana was thrown on the pitch and there was monkey chants which was directed at Mario Balotelli. There was also racist symbols made by the fans. The continental football body, UEFA  has opened disciplinary proceedings against the Croatian Football Federation.
It was observed by the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) that not less than 300 Croatia fans were chanting monkey noises which prompted Uefa to investigate the matter. On the 19th June, the case will be handled by the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body.
